I have to say that I rarely use a polish that isn’t Essie; I am so familiar with the oh so perfect brush that I could paint my nails neatly in my sleep. I love the shades, the formula and the ease of removal – everything about the brand really appeals to me. Needless to say, I’ve built up quite a collection in recent years!
I’ve been asked to do a blog post on my collection for some time now, so I went to town on the photos so you could really get an eyeful. I keep my polishes in this New Look box, but I have run out of space so I’m thinking about creating something else! A far better solution than not buying anymore polishes, of course.
As you can see, I also love the Essie top & base coats and other essentials; the Apricot Cuticle Oil is just a dream to apply, and I wouldn’t be without the Let It Shine top coat!
I’ve listed the shades I have, as I know I’ll get asked. This is going by the big picture at the top…
Row One: To Dry For Quick Dry Top Coat, Millionails Base Coat, Blanc, Ballet Slippers, Fiji, Spin the Bottle, A Crewed Interest, Eternal Optimist
Row Two: Tart Deco, Sunday Funday, Cute As A Button, Meet Me at Sunset, Apricot Cuticle Oil, Watermelon, Fishnet Stockings
Row Three: Sole Mate, Toggle To The Top, Splash Of Grenadine, Sittin’ Pretty, Full Steam Ahead, Lilacism, Bikini So Teeny
Row Four: Lapiz of Luxury, Maximilian, First Base Base Coat, Fashion Playground, Mint Candy, Turquoise, Naughty Nautical
Row Five: Midnight Cami, Aruba Blue, Stroke of Brilliance, Belugaria, Set in Stones, Beyond Cozy, Let It Shine Top Coat
As for my favourites, I would have to say Watermelon (a delicious rich raspberry), Blanc (the perfect white), Midnight Cami (a divine inky blue) and Sole Mate (a smokey plum) are my regular choices, but I do love Tart Deco and Mint Candy Apple occasionally too!
Do you love Essie polishes as much as I?
