No7 Pop & Glow Cream Blush Stick & Instant Radiance Highlighter.
Meet my latest creamy cheek loves, I mentioned these two on Instagram this week and you lot were keen to hear more – perhaps it’s because of the 3for2 offer that’s currently on in Boots at the moment, and I’m sure I spied a £5 No7 Voucher recently…
No7 aren’t a brand I usually check out, although I did used to use quite a lot of their products back when I worked in store. I regularly used to cover the counter so I was up to date with the brand but over time I just didn’t give them so much attention.
On a recent Boots browse, however, I just knew I had to try their latest Pop & Glow Cream Blush Stick (£9.95). I swatched the tester on the back of my hand when I was browsing and I was instantly sold, I’m all for a creamy blush and I could see these were going to be a hit.
I have the shade Classic Rose, a lovely winter/spring transitional shade that suits me all year round. I love the texture of these, they’re so creamy and easy to apply but instantly turn to powder on the skin so you can blend and set them in place for hours of wear. The formula is just right, blendable yet budge-proof and enough moisture in there to keep them looking fresh and healthy throughout the day.
The colour pay-off is impressive, not too bright or scary once applied but buildable so you can up the colour if that’s what you’re in to.
I also love the idea of a stick blusher, they’re a lot more easier to apply than other cream blushers and there’s so much less mess. I expect to see another shade in my collection before the week is out…
I also bought the No7 Instant Radiance Highlighter (£9.95) – there’s a big chance I love this even more than the blush! It’s similar in texture to the blusher, very easy to apply as it glides on to the skin and blends seamlessly without much effort. This is a subtle nude pink with a shimmer that lights up the whole complexion, I tend to apply it on the cheekbones but I really want to use it all over too as it looks so fresh and flattering when blended in.
The warm hue is just gorgeous, and the creamy but not wet formula means it stays in place like the blusher. I have never tried a highlighter like this before but I am SOLD, it really is such a dreamy product that helps to keep my skin looking soft-focused and dewy.
Apply it to the Cupid’s bow, brow bone or down the nose – it’s not too shimmery so can be used anywhere to give the skin a boost.
I really recommend both these products, they’re not too pricey and with the current offers they’re well worth the money. I am still unwell at the moment but I will definitely feature them in a makeup tutorial soon so you can see them in action!
Have you swatched these in store yet?
