Alpha H Liquid Gold Rejuvenating Cream.

Alpha H Liquid Gold Rejuvenating Cream – £49 *

I’ve been a fan of the Alpha H Liquid Gold for some time now, (review here) so it was only right I stepped up to review the new Liquid Gold Rejuvenating Cream which is a new launch from the brand (out in March). This is a new night cream which is designed to be used on alternate nights with the Liquid Gold treatment.

The moisturiser aims to minimise pores and fine lines and regenerate skin while you snooze. Upon waking up, imperfections will be reduced and skin will have a lovely, natural glow – this ticks all the right boxes for me so I’ve been using it every couple of days for the past week or two and wow, we have something good going on here! I only use Liquid Gold once a week tops, so don’t feel you have to use these all the time. I switch up this moisturiser with another night moisturiser or overnight mask as my skin is young and I don’t feel like I need too many treatments. Plus, this is a pricey little tub and, although I’d have to say it’s worth the money, I wouldn’t like to see my bank balance after I slapped this on so liberally.

After cleansing and toning, spend a minute or so working this in to your skin – it’ll tingle a little at first (to let you know it’s working, of course) and you’ll wake up with clearer, smoother skin. After just a week or two of use (I’ve moved house, I have no concept of time) my skin is looking better than ever and I haven’t seen a blemish in some time, despite all the stress.

What do you think of the Alpha H products?

this sounds brill although i don’t know if it would be worth the £49 price tag hahah

I’ve not tried anything from Alpha H yet despite loving the views on the liquid gold. It’s just that little bit pricier than i’d usually go for and for now, La Roche Posay seems to be doing the trick. If I feel like treating myself one day though I’ll definitely give this a go… need to get rid of these ugly pores!xx

They are gooood shit 😉 Thanks Gem x

This looks incredible, but anything that contains liquid gold is probably a winner.

  • Millie

This looks great, the price of it puts me off a little bit though! 🙂 ♥

  • Tiggy

I absolutely love the Liquid Gold (goodbye blackheads!) and can’t wait to try this cream!

  • Eleanor

I’m absolutely dying to try out some Alpha H products! This and their liquid gold sound amazing, but definitely don’t think I could bring myself to spend this much, it’s such a shame it’s so expensive!

      That’s the spirit! x

Sounds like exactly something I need right now, what with all the dissertation stress I’ve got going on at the moment! Thank you for recommending it to me!

It would be so nice to see more reviews of items that don’t have asterisks by them. Are we really meant to believe a positive review you gave to your free £50 jar of cream? I suppose if you ever muttered negative words you might get less freebies, and we couldn’t possibly have that.

It’s a shame. You seem utterly disingenuous.

    • Kate

      Hi Debbie,
I’m sorry you feel that way, I actually don’t often get sent products as I don’t attend any events much anymore. I’m not sure why this would upset anyone to be honest, I received this via my job so technically I don’t need to disclose it but I thought I would anyway. I buy 99% of the products you see here and the rest are through my beauty writing job.

  • Shari

I love this – cant wait to try it 🙂

I really want to try this, but I’m so put off by the price!

That is a gorgeous photo… you always style your photography luxuriously. But I would like to know, should this be taken as more of a “first impressions” post instead of a review? Since you say you’ve only used this product for “the past week or two.” That seems a little brief for skincare in my opinion. Unless this product isn’t about cumulative results? Just curious for my own knowledge, no harm meant by the comment 🙂 In fact, I’ve been consistently gobbling up everything you post since last July!

    • Kate

All in the camera lens my friend… Oh and probably the background too ha. I think with liquid gold etc you see the results quite quickly, from first use you usually notice a difference. I can’t tell what changes my skin in the long run because I’m always having to try new things! I know it’ll help in the long run but I’m impatient and like products that give me results pretty quickly. Hope this helps 🙂 x

I’ve just started using the Liquid Gold about a week ago, and my skin seems to be a lot less congested and brighter. That said, I am still getting some quite nasty spots, though I think that’s down to either my skin “purging” as a result of the new products and stress. But I’m eager to see what it can really do, and bank balance permitting, I’d love to try this. I’m yet to find a good night time moisturiser.

If anyone is interested this cream along with a new liquid gold cleanser, the original liquid gold and eye complex will be on QVC on 7th May as a TSV. They will probably have this on easy pay too to help spread the cost.
